Accessing mental health care can be overwhelming. Add in layers of queerness, gender exploration, neurodivergence, polyamory, kink, or simply living outside the mainstream—and things get even harder.

At Be Well Berlin, I offer inclusive, trauma-informed mental health care designed for people who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional healthcare settings. Whether you're LGBTQIA+, kinky, polyamorous, a creative, a raver, a burner, or someone who just doesn't vibe with cookie-cutter systems—you are welcome here.

I don't believe in censor yourself, minimize your story, or explain your lifestyle. I respect who you are and how you live.

What I offer

My practice centers around:

  • Psychiatric Medication Management, when needed, with a focus on informed, consent-based decisions.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A practical, evidence-based approach to help shift unhelpful patterns in thinking and behavior
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI): A collaborative style that supports your values and autonomy
  • Transparent, flat-rate pricing:
    • Insurance Accepted
    • Out of Network / Uninsured: $100/month for ongoing care [Initial consult 60 minutes, follow ups typically ~30; appointments typically once monthly, at times more frequent based on clinical need / medication adjustments]
    • NOTE: If I am in-network with your specific mental health benefit, I am contractually obligated to bill your insurance and cannot offer our membership based plan.
    • As-Needed Care: $250 for initial consults, follow ups $125-175

This isn’t traditional psychiatry. It’s care that respects nuance, identity, and choice.

Insurance & Accessibility

Accepted Insurance:
  • Medicare Part B / FFS (NOT Medicare Advantage)
  • Aetna PPO
  • Cigna PPO
  • Optum Behavioral Health Network

Contracts Pending:
  • Tricare West
  • Carelon Behavioral Health (Mental Health / Substance Use Disorder Benefits for Anthem, Some Anthem Medicare Advantage Plans and some large employer based plans, call the number on your health insurance card and ask who manages their mental health benefit or contact the office to see if we're in-network)

Using Out-of-Network Benefits (PPO Plans)

If I am not in-network with your insurance but you have a PPO plan, you may be able to get partially reimbursed for your care through out-of-network (OON) benefits.
Here’s how it works:
  • You pay me directly at the time of service ($250 for initial consults, follow-ups $125-175)
  • I’ll provide you with a superbill (a receipt with diagnosis + CPT codes)
  • You submit this to your insurance for possible reimbursement
  • Depending on your plan, you may get 30–80% back after meeting your OON deductible

Pro tip: Call your insurer and ask:
“Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits for outpatient psychiatry or medication management?”

Whether you’re using insurance or paying cash, my goal is to make care accessible without the bureaucracy and burnout.

You’ll always know what to expect. I don’t do 7-minute visits or rushed checklists. This is care that listens—and lasts.

Care for the misfits, healers, rebels, artists, and everyone in between

At Be Well Berlin, you don’t have to explain your vibe, your playlist, or your lifestyle. You don't need to wear a blazer to be taken seriously, and you won't be judged for how you choose to live, love, or explore.

Whether you're trans, queer, fluid, neurodivergent, kinky, poly, sober-curious, festival-minded, or just done with clinical coldness—this practice is for you.

Ready to Get Started?

My goal is simple: to listen deeply, respect your perspective, and help you get clearer on what matters to you—not what the world expects.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, anxious, or just tired of being pathologized for living differently, I offer care that centers your values and collaborates with you toward change. I'm fortunate that my patients often say they feel genuinely heard, respected, and not judged in our work together.

If medication is part of the conversation, I take time to explain my clinical reasoning—whether I think something could help, be neutral, or potentially do more harm than good. I won’t rush you, I avoid pushing pills, and I try my hardest to not dismiss your lived experience.

Clinical Training & Experience:

I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience working with LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and countercultural communities. My background includes trauma-informed care, primary care, and mental health—with additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing,  and Gender-Affirming Care.

I started this practice because I saw too many people getting dismissed, gaslit, or rushed through appointments. I built Be Well Berlin to offer the kind of care I’d want for the people I love—deeply respectful, collaborative, and real.

When I began treating patients with Substance Use Disorder in 2022, I realized that medication alone often isn’t enough to address the full spectrum of needs for most folks.  That recognition inspired me to deepen my training in psychotherapy. In 2025, I enrolled in the Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship at UCI School of Medicine to expand my expertise and provide more holistic, evidence-based mental health care.
